Group Fundraisers 501 (c) (3)

Cruise fundraisers make the benefits of fundraising even more enjoyable.  Cruise Planners - Grandmastertravel planned and organizes in conjunction with our cruise line partners a fun and exciting experience with 5-Star service, cuisine, and nightly entertainment.  Creating a special fundraising cruise experience, exploring many exotic ports of call while earning thousands of dollars for a worthwhile cause.

A different approach to collecting money for any cause is through a fundraising cruise.  Every day of your fundraising cruise can be a unique, and an engaging experience for all the participants; while continuing to raise thousands of dollars for your deserving charity, you'll travel to many exotic ports!

Allow our knowledgeable staff to assist you in selecting the route and cruise line that will provide your fundraising group with the best value and facilities to maximize your fundraising possibilities.

Choose the proper cruise fundraiser to maximize your donation potential.

Our agency negotiates and secures the best group price available with the cruise line.  By obtaining a lower than the prevailing price, the organization can benefit by marking up the price and using the difference for fundraising.   The general markup is $100 or $200 per cabin, but more may be possible, but not too much that it becomes unattractive.  Another opportunity to earn funds is through “Tour Conductors” (TC).  Most cruise lines offer 1 TC for every sixteen full-paying guests.  A TC is equivalent to one berth or half a cabin (double occupancy).  This credit can be converted to funds for the fundraiser.  The cruise line determines the value of the TC, typical TC credit is around $300.  For example, out of two hundred cabins (double occupancy) sold, it will generate 25 TCs (potentially $7.5k worth of funds).

You can raffle two of these extra berths to generate additional income.  Or use the TC value to provide complimentary cruise cabins to special hosts or speakers.

Other potential earnings are through GAP (Group Amenity Plus) points.  Depending on the cruise ship and itinerary, some groups may come with GAP points.  Your organization may use these points to offer extra value to the group attendees.  If you decide to convert GAP points for fundraising, for example, 2 GAP points represent $25 per cabin, 4 GAP points, $50 per cabin, and so on.  This will also represent a potential extra $10000.

Other opportunities, like group excursions, and onboard activities can generate additional funds.

Cruise Planners - Grandmastertravel LLC is the agency with the responsibility to plan, manage, and organize the fundraiser event.   The agency will also provide other services to all the attendees, like airfare, airport transfers, travel insurance, and concierge services to the attendees ensuring minimum complications and improving the chances of maximum success.

The agency will work together with the primary point of contact of the organization seeking to benefit from the fundraising event.
