Cruise Planners History

Cruise Planners was co-founded in 1994 by Michelle Fee along with two travel industry veterans in Coral Springs, FL. Since then, the company has spread “Cruisitude™” around the world. A major reason for our success is that we're founded by travel professionals. When Michelle started Cruise Planners, she was a travel agent and a young mother who had a passion for travel and a drive for success.

The founding partners knew what it took to run a successful travel agency and wanted to impart their knowledge. That seed blossomed into what Cruise Planners is today: the nation’s largest home-based travel agent franchise network with more than 1,600 franchise owners; an American Express Travel Representative that leverages one of the world’s most trusted brands to offer customers the best travel deals and amenities available; and above all, experienced professionals who love to travel and are excited to share that love with the world.

Cruisitude™ [krooz-i-tude, -tyood] – noun

Manner, disposition, feeling, position, etc., with regard to cruising and cruise vacations; tendency, orientation or state, especially of the mind: a positive cruisitude; group cruisitudes.

We came up with the idea of Cruisitude™ early on in our evolution.
